A little girl born in the country, Melanie always loved the city and the times she got to go there. Being the country bumpkin she was, when she went there she was basically like a fish out of water. Gullible and naïve, she would fall for almost every trick known to man. On top of that she never really had good taste in men, especially with the ones born and raised in the ways of the city.

Meeting what she thought as a great man, she fell in love instantly and it didn't take him long to wrap her up in the little scheme of his. After a few months of dating, he ended up convincing her to move to the city with him. Everything was going great for the first few months they lived there together. As days passed he slowly began to change and the more he changed, the more her debt rose. More and more things were put into her name since his credibility was tarnished. She didn't think much of it at first. She did it because she loved him and just wanted to help. It wasn't until thugs were constantly coming to her door asking for their money that she realized how much trouble he had gotten her into.
