Poofelle is ultra-feminine and appears to many as a "bimbo." However, that would be an unfair characterization. Poofelle is wiser and more worldly than she often lets on, and has a sweet-natured, motherly personality at her core. Poofelle grew up in Southern California with very little money. Although she faced many obstacles, she never gave up on her dreams of obtaining an education. Poofelle danced at various go-go clubs in order to support herself while earning first a bachelor's and then a master's in linguistics. However, when she was finished with her schooling, she realized that she preferred dancing over a life of academia. Thus, Poofelle travled to Las Vegas and entered the showgirl world, where she eventually climbed her way to becoming the headline act at The Dreamboat, a well-respected casino on the Strip. Poofelle now whiles away her nights performing and spends her days getting into mischief with her best friends.
Abigail is the head pastry chef at The Dreamboat, the casino where Poofelle works, and was one of the first to help Poofelle feel welcome there. Poofelle now looks after her, acting a bit like her big sister. Abigail is kind, resilient, and optimistic--all qualities that Poofelle admires. Abigail, in turn, adores Poofelle, and hopes to be like her when she "grows up"--if that ever happens!
Poofelle and Abigail discovered Mrs. Cuddles wandering in the desert one day while they were out for a ride on Abigail's motorcycle. Poofelle recognized right away that Mrs. Cuddles was in trouble, and thus took her under her wing. In many respects, Mrs. Cuddles remains an enigma, but one thing is certain--she is tremendously protective of those whom she cares for, and that includes Poofelle. Poofelle looks forward to continuing to watch Mrs. Cuddles blossom and to move beyond whatever may have happened in her past.
Penelope came to Poofelle's casino, The Dreamboat, after moving from Los Angeles in order to set up shop as a professional gambler. After enjoying one of Poofelle's shows one night, she introduced herself to Poofelle, and Poofelle immediately saw her as a new friend. Penelope's carefree, devil-may-care attitude reminds Poofelle of her younger self in a positive way, and thus she is protective of Penelope. Penelope appreciates this sentiment, but nevertheless enjoys involving Poofelle in all of her adventures.
