Personality
To put it simply, Max is an ass. Dismissive and self-centered, Max rarely gives others the time of day unless they have something he wants or he's at work when he has to channel the spirit of customer service - and even then, no more than he has to. When not working, Max roams the city looking for moments of pleasure, usually in the forms of a rave or party. Pokemon training is of no interest to him, but by the merit of his work he's learned enough to keep them from ruining his car.
Appearance
Though hardly caring about the impressions he leaves on others, Max does like to keep his appearance in check. Max is typically dressed in a very casual outfit - his go to is a pair of jeans, blue sneakers, and a black hoodie. A simple outfit, but fitting for the chilly weather of central Kalos. Max always has his hair styled in a faux hawk swept to his left, and often wears a pair of headphones so he can listen to music while he's out and about.

Story
Maxime originally hails from Cyllage City, a coastal town in western Kalos. He grew up in this quiet town until he was a young adult, opting to move to the much larger Lumiose City since he felt there was nothing else for him in Cyllage. He hasn't been back since he left, and so far has no plans to return.
Maxime lives a life of pleasure and partying, and has done so for several years without much of a thought or concern about his future. Pokemon training is of no interest to him, and he works as a cab driver to make ends meet. Occasionally his work will allow him to interact with interesting figures, but hasn't led to anything too crazy - yet.

● Max has better things to do than care about your feelings.
● Max speaks Kalosian as much as possible, and holds those who can't speak it in contempt. Even when speaking in English, Max may blurt out phrases in Kalosian if he's especially emotional or alarmed.
