POKÉMON
POLARIS / VULPIX
Rory's first pokémon. Although they are not 'close', Polaris is gentle, and was given to him as a soft introduction to facing his fears. She's reliable and patient, but seems to like people more than other pokémon.
CYGNUS / WINGULL
Kind but not always gentle, Cygnus is an excitable creature, often hopping from perch to perch to get a better look at things. She's known to steal food, and Rory sometimes struggles to keep her in check.
RIGEL / CHARJABUG
Foisted upon Rory by an excited friend of his father's, Rigel is a background presence among the team. He mostly crawls around slowly, digging through dirt and detritus .... until it's time to carry the team through a battle as the significantly stronger pokémon, of course. Rory fears his eventual evolution.
SIRIUS / ZORUA
The only one of Rory's pokémon he actually caught himself. Even so, Sirius is more of a tagalong, causing trouble without much regard for his trainer's orders. But they share a bit of a special bond due to the genuine nature of their friendship, however tentative it may be.
