I'm curious where the name Bro came from. Does it have any special meaning? Or is it just a name you like?

The name comes from an old nickname I had in middle school (Brother-Lady) and that was Bros original name, but I shortened it to Bro in 2013 I think??
I’ve always been boy-ish or viewed as ‘one of the bros’ so that’s where the original nickname came from I’m pretty sure ??
I still feel like the dude-bro mentality fits her and can’t see them being called anything but Bro at this point so Bro they will stay haha
