Fire Emblem Three Houses OC - This setting is an AU/Spin off to the actual lore of the game.

Profile:
Zakchaios was previously a commoner living in a remote village in the mountain ranges that borders between the Anaïtian Empire and Desperbasque Alliance. Due to his home being so isolated from the rest of the nation he grew up having no knowledge of what his crest meant or other worldly matters. Despite this, he lived a normal upbringing in peace within his home Liorne.

When an militia from House Rallis raided the village Zakchaios's father, Achaikos, was forcibly taken and arrested for his crimes abandoning his role as Marquis for House Peris. During the chaos Zakchaios and his mother Griselda took what they could before fleeing the village from persecution soon afterwards.  

They were soon discovered by a band of church officials and by a single notebook that Achaikos gave to Zakchaios the young man learns the truth of his lineage. House Peris was on the verge of collapsing due to a famine that struck the land. Achaikos learned the land was poisoned by unknown origins and documented ancient fossilized-like relics in his surveys. Achaikos later struck a deal with a neighboring land, unpolluted from the poison, faking his own death by a staged coup. The coup allowed the neighboring nobility to seize the land and allowed Achaikos' vassals to abandon the dying city.

It was later learned that the ancient relics discovered turned out to be byproducts of Argathan’s ancient industrial waste. In haste, Zakchaios was ushered to the Abyss soon afterwards.  

Personality:
Zakchaios would consider himself as a simple person. As he says, "once a country bumpkin is always a country bumpkin." With his straightforward personality he has a tendency to speak out his mind without thought of the repercussions. His sheltered life in the mountains gave him a very naive outlook to life; which made him ignorant about the politics surrounding the continent. Now knowing his “noble” lineage he feels conflicted about his previous life and grows to detest anything or anyone who reminds him he is a noble. He wishes nothing more than to go back to his simple lifestyle and will strive forward to reach that goal.

Despite his naive nature, Zakchaios is a quick learner and could be called a natural genius. However because of his lack of urgency and stubborn rejection of his noble title he never applies his talents unless needed. He doesn't want to acknowledge anything involving with politics and oftentimes will play dumb to keep his commoner image.
