Date is correct. It is a wild Beholder with beautiful shimmering black fur. He has it due to his melanism. Because of his pelt, the slavers were able to see him from miles away. The scooped him up and took him from his mother when he was scarcely weeks old. Ever since that day, It has been a slave. His master didn't care enough to name him or use the one It's mother had given him, thus he is referred to as an object.
After being owned by a club owner for most of his life, It was purchased by a woman who thought that he was maybe bein' treated kinda bad (which he was)
