Gecko

Gecko hatched in the Rainforest Kingdom along with his brother Coral Snake to parents Fossa and Capybara.  His parents were neglectful and didn't pay too much attention to Gecko and his brother.  Gecko and Snake would compete with each other to try to get their attention.  Unfortunately for Gecko, Snake almost always one upped Gecko on various Rainwing skills (climbing and swinging through trees, harvesting fruits, spitting venom, camouflage, etc.).  Snake also became more arrogant and often looked down on Gecko.  Gecko came to despise his brother because of all this and would try his best to avoid his family.  He would mostly spend his time exploring the rainforest and eating all the fruit he could find.  He also liked to read any scroll or book that he could get his talons on (academics was one of the few things that he was better at than Snake).  He would read fiction, non-fiction, and informative scrolls.  Because of his eagerness to gain more information and knowledge (and to get away from Snake), he decided to enroll at Jade Mountain Academy. 

At the school, he was placed into the Silver Winglet.  Upon arriving, he was disheartened to learn that his three claw mates would be an Icewing, a Skywing, and a Hivewing (the more grumpy and mean dragons, he had heard).  Fortunately, he instantly clicked with his clawmate Puffin due to their shared similar interests and personalities.  They became best friends and a dynamic duo.  He also introduced Puffin to greatness and deliciousness of fruit.

Gecko immediately developed a crush on the Leafwing Coleus when he met her.  He made several attempts to impress her (with Puffin's help as his wingman), to no avail yet.
