[Previous Life Information] - As the son of a minor viscount on the mainland, Carson had some status but lacked the backbone to keep up the appearance of a noble.  He was often picked on at the Academy due to his lack of assertiveness and more gentle nature.  Carson also had no talent for any of the physical training, but seemed to excel within the classroom when it came to practical talk of things like feeding troops or the logistics of shipping and storing supplies.

Carson, later known as Dinn after he revives, was the first victim of Oliver's ritual sacrificial murders for his personal Basut worship.  Carson met Oliver and Cecile at the Starshooter Military Academy.  He became involved with Oliver after the latter inadvertedly 'rescued' Carson from a particularly bad round of bullying.  The 'Academic Ice Prince' had just been passing by and the noise of Carson's crying combined with the yelling of the bullies was enough to cause Oliver to act.  Like a cheesy romance text, Carson became enamored with the Academy's most desired top student and began to do everything in his power to become friends with the two (Oliver and Cecile were inseparable).

Oliver, while annoyed, decides to use this as an opportunity to play a game.  He broke down Carson's defenses, pulled him in and got Carson to trust him just enough to then invite him to Oliver's family home there in the Capitol.  [Trigger Warning: Rape, Dismemberment, Gore] Carson was then r*ped by both Cecile and Oliver, before then being beaten into a stupor.  He woke up a few hours later tied to a chair in the middle of a decrepit rotting room with lit candles surrounding him.  Oliver was standing in the shadows of the room, his figure flickering darkly in the dim candlelight.  The smile on his face was cold and Carson then realized the truth; Oliver was never a friend.  Carson's eyes were gouged out and he ended up dying from the blood loss.  Oliver deemed Carson's body unworthy for revival rites and dumped his corpse far outside the Capitol on the outskirts of Blight's Grin Marsh, where he then ironically woke up as a Helgrin-driven StarRobber.
