design notes

• perdeby's green markings change color with his mood! the colors are:
  • green: neutral
  • white: bored / frustrated
  • red: daring / energetic / adventurous
  • purple: fearful / uncertain
  • orange: mixed emotions / confused
  • blue: lovable
• perdeby's wings can vanish when they are not in use.
• perdeby has long, prominent whiskers and no inner ear.

personality notes

• very emotive (duh). i havent figured out the rest yet lol
• i've chosen a theme song for each one of my characters that i feel both represents them melodically / lyrically *and* that i discovered around the same time i acquired them / has personal significance to that time in my life. perdeby's theme song is i'm all over it - jamie cullum!

history notes

• i adopted perdeby from chiacha, one of my favorite artists and later a friend of mine early in my time on deviantart, in 2012. she sadly stopped posting a few months in. i'm really glad i kept perdeby for all these years as a little piece of her influence on me!
• perdeby's name is the afrikaans word for hornet (i probably found it on some baby name site).
