Kalan

Kalan is my changeling artificer's (Tal's) 5 year old daughter.

She's very pure. She likes pure little things that children like doing, like climbing trees and making jewellery with their mum out of buttons and playing with animals and playing with people and hugs, and shape-shifting into people and spitting acid on the furniture

All normal child things

Her daddy was a dragonborn. Tal is her mum. She has the Acid Spray cantrip, and, flavour-wise, she breathes it out her mouth. She's also 5, so she can't do anything else from her class. 

I might use an adult version of her somewhere some time but, for now? She's purely a very pure bean.

She has hoarding instincts, and counts learning the appearances of new people as something for her hoard. She also has trading instincts, and will compensate people with either free hugs or little gifts. This is how she instantly forms friends with almost everyone, and no one but her and Tal have realised what's actually happening there.

She can't shape-shift away her horns, although she can tweak them; this means she can pose as a tiefling or a dragonborn just fine, but she can't convincingly be a human without providing ways to make it look like her horns are fake. For a changeling, this technically makes her disabled. Tal has kept this quiet from her and made sure she doesn't feel like she's less good or valuable because of being - technically - disabled.
