Novocaine is generally standoffish and likes to keep to himself. He is grumpy, snappy, and constantly feels down in the dumps. He is extremely pessimistic and believes in the worst of people, thus he never really socializes or tries to get close to anyone. The only coping mechanism he knows is abusing drugs to get an emotional high. Only then does he truly feel happy.

Novocaine is a major comfort character for me so if you're going to draw him PLEASE pay close attention to all of his design notes. A lot of aspects of his design have special meanings to me and it makes me feel very uncomfortable if he is portrayed incorrectly.

• Fur is messy and sticks out everywhere
• There is NO fur inside his ears
• Safety pin earrings are on BOTH ears
• Silver bits on the ear tips/wings and safety pins are NOT optional
• Holographic tears, blood, and wings (See wings reference for holo colours)
• Bandaids are NOT optional (Bandaids can be drawn in any amount but there has to be AT LEAST a few)
• IV tube is NOT optional (IV tube goes from left side of neck to left leg)
• If drawing wings, draw them STRAPPED DOWN
