Churi is an engineer with an attitude. With his extensive weapon construction know-how and physical charm to boot, people can’t help but be captivated by him at first glance. Unlike his more guarded and patient sister, he doesn’t hesitate to let others know how he really feels. His fiery aggression and short temper can get him into physical fights sometimes. He used this aggression and his status as an Elite Octoling to protect himself and his loved ones back in Octo Valley, and he maintains his attitude to this day. His sassy demeanor may seem off-putting to some, but underneath it all is a caring and protective Octoling who wants to keep others from being hurt the way he was as a disrespected soldier. With weapons such as his trusty .52 Gal and H-3 Nozzlenose, Churi is always ready to fight for those he cares about, no matter the cost to himself. Let’s hope his team can teach him how to pick his battles carefully.

Back during their time in the military, Lotus was his 'darling little subordinate' Neneg. He would often try to encourage them when she was unsure of her abilities and was even a bit overprotective at times. Now that they're on the surface and things have changed somewhat, he's a bit more lenient and minds her space, but he can't help but fret over them whenever they stuggle a bit in practice...
Pre-Inkantation, Chu hated Kai. He knew him as that 'stubborn little firefly' who kept throwing a wrench in his plans and the one who 'poisoned Neneg' with enough lies to turn her against them and sought at nothing to take him down. After his memory was wiped by Kamabo Co, he seemed to have dismissed those feelings since he finds it pointless to have a murderous grudge over a complete stranger. However, after getting his memories back and actually getting to know the older agent, he's come to realize he was just a scared boy keeping his home safe and found a new sense of respect for him, even helping him navigate with his newfound disability (that he feels partially responsible for). Overall, his opinion on Kai has changed for the better, and he considers him the most adorable little squid and loves to fluster him on occassion.
