Reikou

Reikou is a three tailed kitsune, aged about 300 years, which is considered to be adolescence for his kind. He lives up to his name's meaning by living an honorable lifestyle. He spends much of his time in the spirit world as an apprentice shrine guardian. His personality is outgoing and personable, he enjoys making new friends and socializing with them. However friendly he seems, by nature he is mischevious and finds humor in playing around with the humans. While his moral code is honorable, his powers are great and he is never one to trifle with when angered.

Rei is like a little brother to Rue, though they are not blood-related. Although they are almost completely opposite in their personalities, the two have developed a comfortable relationship together. Despite Rue always seeming to be just tolerating him, Reikou always makes an effort to cheer him up.

This kitsune did not always live in the town of Gento. He had inhabited a smaller village before that had been raided and burned to the ground. There is a lot of pain and sadness that he hides in his heart, but he never shows it and never misses a stride in appearing happy. He is forever grateful for finding a place of his own after everything that happened, and he cherishes it. There is a small part of him though that wonders what is beyond the small town and rolling hills around; someday he hopes to move on to a large city and take in all the excitement.
