Phippen

Phippen, 15 years old, male.

He's an odd little child - experienced beyond his years but at the same time very innocent and naive. He was abandoned by his parents as an infant due to slight deformities; it's nothing that limits him in any way, just makes him different to look at. Dill, a circus ringmaster, found him in a basket left on the steps of a bakery on his way to pick up breakfast. Nobody had noticed the baby yet, he hadn't cried out once. Dill took him and raised him. Rasied him as a Freak. Raised him to perform. Raised him to take what the world threw at him, without taking it to heart.

Phippen grew up in a circus, with an atmosphere of joy and intrigue and trickery and magic. He has been rather sheltered, both by the quirky man who took the place of father in his life, and by the friends he's made along the way. He vaguely understands that, as a boy, his girly mannerisms and affinity for dresses is unusual. But the people who matter to him don't care, and the people who might care don't matter to Phippen. So he's happy.

His talents include clowning,dodging lions,and standing perfectly still as knives are hurled at various targets around his head and body.
