traits: She was once curious, playful, and loving. However, due to not experience love and kindness in her childhood, she became bitter and cocky, shoving down all the childlike innocence, burying it deep within her self because, hey, why bother showing love if you weren't going to get it? She was bullied as a child due to not having a father figure in her life so she developed trust issues which were also caused by her mother not loving her. However, buried deep inside of her, she is still that loving, innocent child.

history: Raised by Hate for most of her life. They lived together in Dark Woods for about a month before Hate took her daughter away, making them become nomads. Jail Bird tired of being with her mother. They traveled through the Free Lands. When Jail Bird went to play with other foals, they would question her about her father. Having no answers, she asked Hate, who replied by telling her not to ask questions about things that weren't important. At about five months, she started to get bullied for not having a father, causing her to turn to violence to defend herself. When she came back to her mother, Hate would tell her that she deserved all her cuts and bruises for causing trouble. Jail Bird left when she was a year old. Hate never even bothered to say goodbye and because of that, Jail Bird became almost hateful toward her mother. She did not remember anything about her father, Lateralus (Ebon), nor did she remember any other members of Dark Woods.

While in the Free Lands by herself, weeks before her second birthday, she finally met him. Lateralus (Ebon). He came to her, speaking of being her father, which she denied at first, expecting this winged figure to be a figment of her imagination or some sort of trick done by her mother, she wouldn't put Hate past that, but the more they talked, Bird breaking down after accepting that Lat (Ebon) was actually her father, she was told that she actually had a huge family and a home, if she wanted it... Dark Woods. Where it all began. She nervously accepted the offer, eyes still wet with tears, but a smile on her face for the first time in what felt like forever.
