Character Notes:

• He travels a lot, both for work and fun. It's hard to tell the difference between his work-travels and fun-travels, because both involve spending most of his time in museums.
• His favorite place to visit is the Xandeera Desert, partly due to its rich history and copious museums, and partly because that's where his best friend lives.
• He prefers to brew his own tea and coffee rather than get it from coffee shops. He favors more traditional recipes, the more caffeinated the better. He's more than happy to share with his friends, students, and colleagues.
• As a teenager, he wanted to live alone for the rest of his life and never have kids. Now he lives with his adopted daughter and his cousin, and his best friend stays with them regularly. It's not what he planned, but he wouldn't change a thing.
• He's not much for boasting, but he does feel good about his academic  contributions. He's just fairly quiet and private about his pride.
• He spends a lot of time studying art from throughout the ages, but please don't ask him to create any art of his own. He hates making visual art of any kind because it never turns out the way he wants.
• Expresses affection by gifting his loved ones souvenirs and books that he thinks they'll like.
