- The specifics of this involve a network of otherworldly fungus that grows throughout his body. In its default state, it consumes and slowly replaces his organs. The colony of ants that use him as a hive harvest and eat this fungus, and bring in meat to feed the fungus in turn, keeping Victor from being completely eaten alive.

He first got explicitly involved with the Corruption while doing a masters in forensic science. It was the best thing to happen to him in that entire lonely, depressed few years. If he refers to the Co specifically, he calls it "the heart of the hive" if he's showing off, and thinks of it as "the above-queen", which is etymologically literal-minded but stuck anyway.
He's transmasc, and 5'6, but tells everyone he's 5'7, do not correct him, do not perceive him,
Circa mid season 1 he went to spy on the Archives, and -- through an hilarious series of misadventures kicked off by Martin and a baseball bat -- ended up trapped there on Elias's very short mental leash. The Archives gang didn't have any proof that he'd done anything more evil than being full of bugs, but they also weren't about to let him leave and potentially go around infecting people Prentiss-style. So Victor "agreed" to "stay" and "not cause trouble" with his fingers crossed behind his back, except then Elias got involved and. Well. You can't lie to him, but he can make you keep your stupid promise.
- tfw you get subtly compelled not to eat anyone at the Institute, but you also can't leave, so you're reduced to stealing Tim's sandwiches in an attempt to feed your god and stave off a long slow starvation :(
- And then Tim figures out you were compelled and is mean about it :(

Personality: bad
- He talks way too much or not at all: there is no in between
- He IS passionate about ants and he WILL tell you ALL about them
- Edgy, a bit of a dipshit, does not think things through all the way
- Shit attention span, gets frustrated easily
- Very bad at reading people, odds are 50/50 that he won't realise an obvious joke is a joke
- A social creature; used to get lonely much more easily before he became part of a hive
- Unapologetically flirty; he affects top energy but is kind of a bottom
- Also makes extremely bad puns

- Nosy, full of trivia, and research-motivated, albeit haphazardly
- He's more than a little Beholding-poisoned, in that "hmm if the other god hadn't gotten you first..." kind of way
