Profile
- There are two items that he cherishes: A locket his mother gave him shortly after the two finally left his father, and a woven friendship bracelet Mira made for him back when he started high school (Mira has a similar bracelet as well). He tries to keep both of these items on him at all times- especially the locket, which he usually wears on a necklace he keeps tucked into his shirt.
- Decided to start learning Krav Maga after him and his mother left his father. He wants to be more prepared to defend the both himself and his mother if Sam ever tries to come back them. He’d also like to avoid nearly being beaten to death a second time.
- Has developed and been diagnosed with PTSD of some degree as a result of Samael’s abuse. He often suffers from recurring nightmares, and occasionally has difficulty sleeping as well. He will always harbor a degree of distrust towards male figures of authority, no matter how much they may try to convince him they’re trustworthy. Jack will also avoid interacting with most law enforcement unless he truly needs to, and whenever there are cops around he will be much more on edge than usual. He can be prone to flinching when people make certain movements, but he tries to suppress it. He can also be jumpy when approached from behind unannounced- and has unintentionally hit a few people who didn't warn that they were approaching.
- Listening to music is one of a few ways that Jack tries to cope with his own anger issues, among other things. His favorite genres of music to listen to are hard rock, metal, and some rap. Contrary to what others would expect, these types of music combined with some alone time actually do help Jack to calm down when he’s frustrated.
- His other calm-down methods include separating himself from the situation (if possible), breathing exercises, and some meditation. Mira suggested he try out the latter two of the three, and they’ve worked surprisingly better than he expected, for the most part.
- Interests/Hobbies: knives, knife throwing, cryptids, listening to music, exploring abandoned places, krav maga, motorcycles, cars, horror movies, comics, etc.
