I love his design and personality! The whole boastful×low selfconfidence is such a cool angle to explore in a character! It's also great to see a main character in a superpower world who is an average person with average skills instead of an op superman. He feels like a real person I might meet while going to get gas for my car. The story plot looks interesting too and I'd love to read about it if you start developing it more!
Hydrokinesis IS a cool power, does he ever get better/ more skilled at it? I have an oc (not posted here yet, I'm still working on her) and I had her go from doing simple things when she was younger, such as just splashing people or freezing things by slowing down the atoms in the water, to using it to control and kill people by simply manipulating the water that was inside of them. Humans are 90% water, so Calvin might be more dangerous than others think.
Also his awkwardness comes across nicely in his design, I can easily picture him as nervous and self conscious.

Another char that isn't uploaded kinda has a similar premise? Like they have an ability thats considered weak & not very useful by most people, (photokinesis / light control), but figured out ways to use it that show its actually really powerful. Calvin could def learn from them to improve or use his ability more creatively I think... +_+
