history: Raised by his mother, spoiled and told stories about his sire, well, the man Foxglove thought was his sire - Desoto, whom he was named after. His father disappeared before he was born, leaving Foxglove alone to raise him. She abandoned him in The Open Plains shortly after he was weaned, telling him to lay down in the tall grasses and count to ten. She said they were playing a game of hide and seek. Except Desoto never saw his mother again after that.
