  • Wears a golden crucifix on chest**--touches skin, never over clothes
  • Refer to first image for undercut hairstyle + hair color
  • Hair type (density, waviness)NOT COLOR/STYLE
  • Body shape
  • Wardrobe/Alt Outfits
  • ”Despite being 5’6, which could easily blend in with a crowd, Isa’s vibrant demeanor, clothing, and interesting features enable her to remain a very distinct individual. Upon meeting her, one can easily notice her comfort in social situations and her ease in making the conversation flow. She also dons more bright and colorful clothes, loving to both exhibit her pride and catch attention. Her facial features are very characteristic of the typical Samoan—overhanging brows, thick lips, broader nose and face structure—and she does tend to have a larger build and tanner skin due to her heritage. Although one side is kept shaved, her hair is wavy, dark, and dense.”
Personality

Straightforward, yet good natured, Isa is one to leave an impression. She enjoys living unapologetically as herself and entertaining others while doing so. She’s a naturally expressive individual, being very animated and quite loud when engaged, so much so that she’s often referred to theater and acting—to which she quickly shoots down as it goes against ‘what she stands for.’

Alongside her honesty, Isa is heavily aligned to her constructed moral code and will often urge others to abide by it. Despite her rigid moral rules, however, her view of others is very much a spectrum of grays. Isa doesn’t believe that one can be completely aligned with one thing—such as being utterly good or utterly evil—and believes in change. She also believes in chances and not holding a grudge.

Despite the frequent disapproval she receives for being such a conspicuous presence, Isa never quite learned to disregard others’ discouragement. She’s rather sensitive and can’t help but bite back with a retort or physically confront them if her pride is especially hurt. Before her frustration escalates to that point, however, she will attempt to remove herself from the situation and deal with her emotions away from the source. Nevertheless, in spite of the magnitude of her feeling in the moment, a bit of time heals the wound, and she somehow finds herself understanding of her emotional assailants afterward. That being said, her forgiveness for their acts comes later.

Alongside the judgment, Isa’s forwardness as well as her kinder qualities tend to backfire on her. In her forwardness, she tends to drive people away due to her boldness and unintentional disregard for others’ feelings when she’s caught up in the moment. She’s also very trusting, yet too naïve to accept that it is an issue. She seems to be stuck in this cycle of placing too much faith in others that she doesn’t know too well/act ingenuinely, and often finds herself wrecked over them, those individuals betraying her trust. Nevertheless, her tendency to give others’ chances prompts her to keep them in her life, and she will often willfully ignore the toxic behavior.

Trivia

  • In the earlier days of Isa’s streaming career, she wasn’t too creative with her user. She went with something along the lines of “rainbow,” and later shortened it to “raini” because it sounded cute.
  • Despite her openness to others and their change, she is very stubborn with her beliefs and is difficult to convince otherwise.
  • She was raised in a somewhat large family with her parents, two older brothers, and two younger sisters.
  • Isa grew up in a more community-oriented setting for most of her life, and she grew up relying on both her tightly-knit neighbors and family. This led to her willingness to put faith in others.
  • Hates the idea of acting as she feels that it was something she grew up having to do, playing the obedient, straight daughter for her parents’ approval.
  • Wears a crucifix underneath her shirt, always touching her skin. She believes that she’s holding God closer to her heart in doing so.
  • Another partial reason for the hidden crucifix—which she denies—is the fear for the prejudice she’d receive for being both gay and a believer in God.
  • Isa is bilingual, having learned Samoan first and later learning English—one of the main reasons why she struggled with English Language Arts in her youth.
  • Growing up with a traditional Samoan family, she learned to swim before she could walk, and is a skilled fisher.
  • Isa is fairly active. She participates in community basketball, goes to the gym from time to time, and uses a few small dumbbells at home.
  • She is every bit the stereotypical cancer, emotional and sensitive.
  • Quite artistically talented, yet not an avid artist.
  • For the life of her, she can’t sing. Nevertheless, she tries very frequently, much to others’ dismay.
History

[ Childhood ]

Isa was born in Hawaii, and grew up in a traditional Samoan household that picked up some Hawaiian aspects. With that, her parents instilled a very strong sense of respect, dedication to family, and communal-kinship to the young Isa and her siblings. The Samoan “faaaloalo” taught her respect for her family members--particularly those older than her--and the Hawaiian “ohana” enabled her to be more comfortable around other people, viewing most people in her life as her “cousins” or “aunties/uncles.”

When Isa began her schooling, she wasn’t the greatest student. With Samoan being the language spoken at home, she struggled with English Language Arts and Literature subjects in school. However, despite her academic qualms, Isa didn’t have much trouble making friends at school; in fact, it was her struggles that landed her with a group of friends in the first place. Isa found herself relating to her fellow Samoan kids at the school. Most were in a similar situation as her, and it was through this connection that she formed tight bonds.

In spite of her many friendships, Isa found herself unable to relate to most of the girls she encountered. Due to her brothers and primarily male friend groups, she had adopted more “boyish” preferences and despised the idea of conforming to more “feminine behavior.” Perhaps it was because of this that she started admiring the other girls as her brothers and friends would.

[ Teenage Years ]

During Isa’s teenage years, she found herself struggling with her sexual identity, as well as her plans for the future. However, she found aid in the form of her aunt Ruth. After discovering Isa’s attraction to girls, Ruth revealed to her that she was bisexual, which remained unnoticed because of her husband. Ruth became an adult who Isa could truly confide in, and they remained close even after Ruth moved through online communication.

As she grew older, there were two new additions to the family, and Isa became a middle child. This allowed her to stay under her parents’ radar. Nevertheless, knowing that Isa would never be accepted for who she truly was had her feeling oppressed. On her darker days, her negative thoughts and doubts were so strong that she resorted to some unhealthy coping mechanisms, despite her vents to her aunt.

With help from “Aunty Ruth,” Isa made long-term goals, and decided she wanted to move away for college; without her parents ruling over her, Isa would finally be able to express herself--which she wanted more than anything. With the incentive to move, Isa’s grades drastically improved. She went from a student constantly in danger of failing her classes to an almost straight-A student.

[ Early Adulthood ]

Isa maintained her high honor-roll until highschool graduation and was accepted into a decent amount of universities in the mainland. With her parents’ permission, she flew to the United States for college and moved into an apartment building that “Aunty Ruth” was also housed in. Isa was now free to live out the life she wanted with a close family member to watch her back, and she couldn’t be happier with the situation at the time.

While she was enjoying her independence, college snuck up on her, and suddenly she was faced with lectures, piles of schoolwork, and little leisure time. It was during this point where she became reliant on gaming. Gaming enabled her to stay indoors for thrilling entertainment, and once she finished, she could simply pick up a book and continue to study. She had also begun streaming on the weekends due to an offhand comment during one of her gaming sessions.

After she graduated, Isa began to focus more on her streaming. As her following grew, she discovered that she could make money out of her weekend activity, and began to consider it as more of a job. From there, she branched out to other platforms as well, and makes videos alongside her streams.

------------

By her third year of college, Isa was focusing less on school and more on her streaming. She had gathered a sizable following and found herself making money with each new subscription. Despite her aunt’s warnings, Isa dropped out of school and focused on her online career--unbeknownst to her parents. In order to earn more money, she also branched out to other platforms and makes videos alongside her streams.
