Pyroph wasn't supposed to be a fear- he used to be... normal. He was just another person- another sad, sad person, who got taken. Everything was taken from him- his name, his life, his emotions- and all that was left was a burnt carcass. The original fear stepped down, tired of their work, and put him in charge of being the near 'fear of fire', the new Pyrophobia. He's... pretty much indifferent to his new assigned life- there's nothing fun about being flames. He's apathetic, and doesn't talk much to... anyone. He misses that vague feeling of existence and identity that rests deep in his chest.

When socializing with the other Fears, he's rather rude, and tends to critique them on how hard they have to work to gain followers. Everyone whose smart is scared of fire- he doesn't even have to lift a finger to do his job perfectly. He's not boastful, but he will brag just to piss the other fears off, now and again.
