A fierce creature roams this world. Little is known about what it is or where it came from, but just about everyone knows its name: Alfheim. It is a beast of fire and blood, spreading destruction wherever it goes. It carries a pendant with itself at all times. Within the pendant, it hides a powerful sword. Its blade may be worn with time, but don’t let its appearance fool you: it has taken the lives of thousands. The few who have gotten to know it well say it has a short temper and rude attitude, but also a degree of rational maturity. Of course, the number of people who have gotten to know it on this level can be counted on the fingers of one hand, since most who see it run for the hills. Its already threatening, fiery visage is made all the more menacing by its countless bloody bandages, which it wears to make up for its lack of natural healing ability. It can also make snakes crawl out of its own body, though how it does this is unknown. The snakes spring to attack any living thing near their master when they are summoned, then die and decay into nothing shortly after, as if they were never there.
