Soleil

Quite a brutal god! The death she faced as a human and the treatment from God she suffered has left her cold and ruthless. Her direct connection to God gives her an advantage, even if the relationship isn't good. She's a notorious cannibal among the gods, and has become greatly feared in a short amount of time. Soleil was born as a human and grew up in a heavily religious town that was later named after her, Solaris, WV. God promised Soleil safety as a human, that he would protect her from harm by any means necessary. Yet allowed her to be sacrificed to him in a horrible manner, leaving Soleil with the massive scars across her body as evidence. As a "gift" to her he granted her godship, she could protect herself and the two could stay side by side. He yet again promised to keep her safe, she was such a young god at that time, there was no way she would survive on her own. See, these gods are all ruthless, killing each other for minor things to gain power and control over each other. Soleil wanted no part of that, at least at that point. God yet again betrayed her, after they began fearing her potential, she was trapped into Solaris. Because of God's actions Soleil became enraged and violent. She suffered a gruesome death due to Gods selfishness, and fell for his empty promises. She is now largely seen to be a part of Solaris itself, she controls many aspects of the town. Cults worship her out of fear and beg for her forgiveness. Sacrifices, human or animal are common occurrences, lest the god go hungry.
