Abashiri is a vindictive person who will  pounce on any excuse to degrade the people around him, not because of a sense of superiority but just for fun. When he isn't  outright insulting others, he sugar-coats the things he says to build up  false senses of security, only to later tear down those walls and the  trust of other people along with them. 

He is known to derive a  sense of pleasure from watching other people suffer, and both physically harms and metaphorically  throws people under the bus more often than he cares to admit for the sake of his own instant gratification.

Despite his  awful track record with relationships of all kinds, he appears to have a  shallow respect and compassion for his two sons. It is unknown whether  or not these emotions are genuine, however he insists they are and will  defend his children even when it is least convenient for his own agenda.  

Background

Abashiri is a prison guard who works in the Capitol City  Penitentiary   Complex. He often takes advantage of  the inmates  under his watch to  feed into his bad habits. Because of this,  he isn't  allowed to  enact more delicate procedures like torture and is  rarely (if ever) allowed to sit in during interrogations. His willingness to discipline prisoners allow him monitored  access  to almost  every inmate in the facility. He performs routine  checks, is  notified of any misconduct that goes on, and punishes or  reprimands  accordingly.

• Abashiri is unable to function for a long duration of time in warmer   temperatures due to his core melting. Because of this inconvenien quirk, Abashiri often lurks in the lower levels of Capitol City's detention complex where the air is more cool and his temperature is more   manageable.
