Eleanor is a very sweet Eye of a Ether who is overall quiet, but passionate. She is obsessed with books, and is happy to spend her days in the Library reading. She lost her world long ago, and she is still deeply hurt by that fact. Hence, she uses her love of reading to distract herself from the pain it left her.
