DJ was formerly a deity, but was demoted to an angel by his creator for being a reckless and irresponsible god. he's now a guardian angel, and steals other angels' halos for power. he seeks this power so that he may one day regain his status as a deity by force rather than being a devoted angel in hopes his creator will grant him godhood again. he does feel dutiful towards his responsibilities as an angel, and works hard to guard his subjects with care and grant blessings to those who need them. however, he simply cannot shake his desire for godhood.
