Terra Pines

Terra is a curious and energetic girl who's prone to bothering her family members when she's bored. Growing up in a rich family, she found it annoying trying get used to wearing fancy clothes all the time, having to study excessively, and taking piano lessons. She has three half-siblings: an older brother Xander, and younger twins Sage and Soren.

She discovered her powers at a young age when she slipped and fell from a tall branch near her home. Small, budding flowers rose in the dirt at her impact, unbeknownst to her. It isn't until her family is forced to go into hiding that she realizes that she possesses these powers and begins to experiment with them. Being forced to relocate due to a complication in her birth father's occupation, the family downgrades from their home villa to a remote village in the woods that's full of kind and hardworking farm people. Life is quiet and humble. Terra begins meeting with an elder to further practice her new natural abilities, as he is familiar with the supernatural. When a small girl her age, Azure, is found unconscious near the village, Terra gains a keen interest in her because of a lack in friends her age.

Eventually, the girls become fast friends and is adopted into Terra's family. The two live life like normal, doing chores in the morning and training in the evening. When Terra becomes more familiar with her powers, she realizes that she has a greater potential and wants to use her powers for better, and staying in the village hindered that. They make a plan to run away, but right before they can, their village is attacked and raided and set aflame. Terra only spares enough time to grab her most treasured objects--her grandfather's handmade bow and a picture of herself and her siblings--before officially running away with Azure into the deep woods.

From there, they tough it out on their own and try to survive with what they've got. They are able to make it a few weeks, however, before a group of men sneak up on them while they're asleep and tie them up and interrogate them. Terra and Azure are mistaken for someone else, bad people who the guys are looking for. But, hungry and weak and eager to leave, Terra insists on having the group take her back to whatever base of operations, meanwhile Azure insists on continuing her travel through the woods.

After a long goodbye, the girls go on their separate ways, and Terra begins her new journey.
