Briar can come off as shy to some, because of how soft-spoken she is, but the truth is that she's quite bubbly and outgoing. She loves to spend time with others even if it just means being in the same space together.
She can also be a bit airheaded. If anything, she's a lot more "street smart" then she is book smart, and she doesn't do very much reading (but enjoys it when her girlfriend Quinn reads stories she's written to her). On occasion, she doesn't understand some things and will often ask others the meaning; not seeming embarrassed by her lack of knowledge, but instead curious. She has yet to learn about a majority of technology, or the concept of "memes" but she catches on quick. (Even if her jokes hold a lot more innocence and naiveté than the average.)
She's also a lot stronger than she looks - despite the fact she isn't much of a fighter. She would prefer everyone to get along, and it can dampen her mood quite a bit to see disagreements, or unnecessary cruelty.
It takes a lot to genuinely upset her, but if you're an unkind person she'll probably avoid you entirely to begin with. She would prefer to surround herself in love and warmth.

- • she is very much a lesbian, and thinks girls are beautiful and wonderful, especially her girlfriend quinn.
- • likes to collect wildflowers to fashion into crowns for her hair, but has grown accustomed to bringing large bouquets to quinn whenever she gets the chance.
