Alois is a very fiery pakaasu in many ways; passionate, angry, driven, energetic.  He sometimes feels he's the only one who takes his job seriously as one of Queen Kui's army.  "If they are not providing training, it is because we are to teach ourselves!  Any who feel otherwise are simply unworthy to be counted amongst her force."  He chooses to live on Syzoma to harden himself further, and even collects crystals from "warriors of worth" he's felled.  Few spar against him, as he's known to get a bit too into the moment and become a little brutal.

Some think it's because he's slowly coming to realize just how rotten the the royals he's devoted so much of his life and energy to are, and just how fragile those foundations are...
