Acacia Petranio (City Lines)

An outgoing and very curious girl with a passion for brewing and baking, Acacia Petranio has recently moved out of her family home, away from her father and brother, and into the busy hustle-bustle of the city to keep herself occupied while she finds her way in the world. Acacia can be found spending almost all of her free time at the Starbucks that she works at, where she chats up the most frequent of patrons and teases her coworkers about not making her drinks just right.

After the death of her mother when she was thirteen years old, her father found it difficult to maintain the home that they all lived in together-- both given the lighter income, and the new struggle of being a single father. During the summer before her sophomore year of high school, Acacia wound up being forced to leave her hometown after her father got a new job. This, of course, meant leaving behind everything familiar to her. It meant leaving behind Kohaku, and school, and everything that she knew. Although she had her tablet and access to messaging her best friend back home, things never quite felt the same. She withdrew back into herself for quite some time before growing comfortable with herself once again— it turned out that therapy was well worthwhile.

Now that she’s got her own apartment and a job that she loves, Acacia feels content with where she’s at. With her trusty pet hamster, Mister Pickles, and a rekindled connection to her childhood best friend, she’s sure that the world’s looking up.
