Where he grew up, vultures weren't really respected because they were known as "the garbage can of the skies" so he didn't make a lot of friends and was sheltered for most of his life. His only way out was through movies and he seemed to gravitate towards horror movies because of how out of the ordinary and unnatural they were from most other movies. It was through these movies that he began to embrace the weird side of himself, but it also alienated himself even more from other birds.
When he was around 16 he started to make his own movies which admittedly weren't the best. He was so harsh on himself that he was about to give up until a movie he made in his early 20's named: "The Hungry Night" made it big in theatres.

Today he puts a lot of passion and work into his movies, so much that he neglects to take care of himself. As famous as his movies are, he never puts himself in the limelight which is probably the main reason he doesn't receive a lot of rewards; that and he acts weird and creepy on purpose.
