If Art is not mine then I will typically credit the actual artist. In the case that some people just disappeared, and or it was too far back and I don't have recollection then I will simply state "credit to original artist"
as far as credit goes, DO NOT take any designs that aren't yours and or claim art that isn't yours. please be respectful as well if I say that you don't have permission to use a character of mine
