marilowe was killed by a lightning strike to the chest. 

When she becomes angry, the ectoplasm that always leaks from her eyes becomes electrified and will shock anyone it comes in contact with. 

marilowe is predominantly nonverbal, preferring to communicate in hand motions and gestures, despite her vocal cords being in perfect condition. she's a loner, adopted into the zommer crew, she watches their antics less than she's roped into them, they always drag her along on their fun adventures, even if those adventures are more often going out to the kelp forest and collecting sea urchins for the sea otters.
