The Havardsen family has long since been one of the hunt. Feeling it is their sacred purpose to hunt demons to protect humanity. Salem had been raised to believe this is the truth for a long time, but thanks to his mother who taught him kindness, and the love of a demonic sympathizer, Salem's never truly held those idea's in his heart, instead taking in the training as a means to protect anyone, not just humans. He dated a boy in his youth who's family were known to smuggle demons and protect them. When his family found out however, they lashed out. The boy defended himself and Salem, but Salem was injured in the skirmish. Weeks in the hospital, and the boy and his family left. Despite the empty it left, Salem took all the lessons to heart, and eventually started doing small feats of heroism where he could. Smuggling Demons out of town, fighting off vagabonds of the war, small bouts of rebellion. Eventually, he decided there was a bigger way to help, a more capable way. He joined DAMMED 4 years after the great bonding event.  Let's see what good he can do.
