Although aloof and with a strong attitude of authority, making them have a some what strong feeling of leadership built into her from years of often being the strategical leader many times during field missions. Yet will yield to someone with an unwavering strong yet respectable leadership dominating aura about them, because she believes leadership isn't about who can install fear into others, resulting in them respecting only out of fear. However instead empowering, selflessness and respecting others needs through empathy. Since she believes in supporting everyone as logically plausible. Coming off as a reserved, unapologetic straight forward thinker with a blunt tongue and often stubbornly determined puts most outsiders of her life off understandably.

Another side to Apphia is eerily silent and seemingly cut off from others . Although does care for others well being but has trouble trusting people. Which is worsened by her bit of a snappy-bad attitude that only adds on to that. Used as a wall to keep others from connecting with her. as Fears losing people she scares about again. Real gentle thoughtful girl that won't hesitate to put others in line if needed. Cares deeply for those who she let her walls down with and would take a bullet for them when the occasion arises.

Life started out normal enough for Apphia with a hard working mother only to be stolen from them one night at the tender age of 5, and raised by an very wealthy  couple, wealthy by illegal means of stolen items pas well as illegal drugs covered as an delivery and clothing place, housing an underground fighting ring underneath their main building where other wealthy individuals could rest and be entertained.
Threats of being tossed into the ring if she stepped out of line  kept her quiet, despite the red hot inner rage and resentment growing inside their soul; repressed.

After the place was busted by law enforcement and planed to be retrained to join a branch of the law enforcement that dealt with crimes such as what she went through. However it soon proved clear the effects of being a forced fighter had already  greatly damaged her mentally.  Seemingly not as physically damaged.
Trigging PTSD  when in stressful situations. that brought back haunting memories  It'd take may several years of therapy and learning healthy self coping tactics  before Apphia would be ready to work the agency. For many years until "retiring" to serve as a body-guard for one Mr. Yang. Wasn't originally going to be permanent however the two clicked well together.
