Queen Kira

Kira's large build is mostly due to the amount of long fur on her, but underneath she is quick sleek in build. She takes after her mother, sharing her white fur and color points , a lighter gray shade on her muzzle, tail, legs, but she has a few tabby markings from her father on her tail and paws. She also has her parent's blue eye.

Layla is a walking ball of manners, a trait she's learned from an early age and a habit that lead her to become queen. She shows respect to everyone, bowing her head politely and making sure to give them all reassurance that they are seen. Layla believes that a smile a day kept the darkness away, and thus she always makes a point to brighten someone's day with a smile. Extremely kind and warm, there is no wonder she was placed at the head of the kingdom

Though she is gentle, she was not weak. A Queen must learn to rule after all, and Layla knew how to make the tough decisions. She was no fighter but she was a great asset in strategizing. She was persuasive and was able to sway the masses with ease and had a scary side when she places her paw down, but that is an occurance few and far between. It's best not to tempt that.

Born in a litter of two, Layla, since day one, had an air of grace about her, as one of royalty typically have. She was the second born daughter of the queen and had no right to the goal, and she was quite fine with that. She supported her elder sister, joining her in her lessons of royalty, practicing alongside her, and appreciating the care given to her as a Princess.

She took her mother's teachings to heart, enacting them every way she could, living and breathing every moment as a symbol of royalty. She did not notice when eyes turned began to turn to her, and she did not expect the path of a Queen to await her either. True, she felt guilty becoming Queen, for her sister had been waiting for the crown since she learned her journey, but Miriam seemed to be happy for her, and thus Layla tossed the worries away and took on the role proudly.

The Kingdom prospered under her reign, the cats of Lavendera feeling comforted by her presence and were loyal to their new Queen. She took on a mate, a tom of the name Thomas who had charmed his way to her heart the moment they had their first hunt together as Squires. With him by her side, they kept Lavendera lively and alive. And soon they bore two kits of their own.

Just as her mother taught her, she taught her children. She taught her daughter what was needed to become a Queen, and taught her son how to support his sister and the Kingdom as a prince. And she was proud of the day she could finally pass the throne to her daughter.

As of this day, Layla has stepped down from her throne and lives out her days speaking to curious kits and loving her King.
