Born Victor Maltivar, Cecil abandoned his name in favor of a fake nobility that permitted him entrance to an infamous magic school. In exchange, as a spy for the criminal underground known as the Leviathan, Cecil bears the mark of his sector of the organization and works to collect information for his handler, an orc named Goruk. Plagued by both an incessant need to be powerful and unforgotten in the passage of time, Cecil is confident, stubborn, and fearless in his quest to be someone worth remembering.
