Neptune hates to think he was orphaned and abandoned from his childhood pride and his parents, god his parents. How could they do this to him? It wasn’t fair at all. He was stolen by merciless Jaguars and was forced to grow up with them while he was constantly offered to the gods as sacrifice. Come to think of it he doesn’t know what time wasn’t considered some form of sacrifice for him. He just wanted his real parents back, but it was obvious that they didn’t want him… One day a beautiful lioness came to him in a dream saying he should flee and when he said this to all the other young Cubs they just laughed at him and said it was the spoiled kill they had the latter night that was making his mind warped to say weird things.

So Neptune decided then and there when nobody was looking he would flee. He ran far and wide till he found safety with an blind lioness. She was so kind to him as he grew and well she didn’t try to sacrifice him to the gods either. What Neptune didn’t know was that this was Circe, she came to him in a different form from the beautiful lioness and well either way she raised him into the creature he was today. To Neptune, Circe will always exist as a story and a ship but to Neptune that was his mother and not a fable. And he will die on that hill if he has to. She gave him the courage to be the pirate Captain he is now and she gives him the strength to antagonize Caspian and his daft crew.
