Kipper is a very chipper Forest Gnome who left his village with his best friend, a badger name Namfoodle, in order to see the world.

He's incredibly friendly and loves to make new friends, even if said new friend is a 10 foot tall Owlbear. He adores animals and enjoys the company of them. Due to his outlook on life, however, he can seem a bit strange to some as he sees change as a natural way of things. Things like the Circle of Life and Survival of the fittest are a big thing to him. He often sees life like the seasons, in constant change, and everyone must change with it or die off as nature intends it.

He doesn't take kindly to theives or liars as he thinks the truth is often the best option. He's very honest with his thoughts and feelings and won't hesitate to share them, even if that means oversharing certain information.

Backstory

Kipper Gimble Umpen Siffress Virra Silverthread was born on the outskirts of his bustling village to Jabble Zaffrab Wiggens Warryn Silverthread and his wife, Ellyjoybell Tippletoe Silverthread. He has twelve other siblings, Jebeddo, Alston, Frouse, Ella, Reddlepop, Virra, Glim, Rimple, Sapply, Warryn, Bilbron, and Buvvie. Thus making the family a total of fifteen including Kipper. There are several aunts and uncles as well as cousins.

The family house is very large and built in and around a large tree, most of the village, in fact, is like this. There are few houses that are simply houses at all and none of the houses allow for beings much larger than the tallest Gnome.

Kipper grew up in a very loving family and was usually the odd one out always spending time in the family garden. He spoke to the animals in the forest and the squirrels that lived in the branches near his window. He wasn’t a lonely child and he got along well with others in his age range, though he spent a lot of time visiting his grandfather further in the woods.

When his grandfather took notice of Kipper’s natural abilities he suggested he tutor him in the ways of the Druid. Since then Kipper’s been studying with the Druid. His grandfather was old, however, and didn’t have many more years. Eventually the inevitable caught up and Kipper’s grandfather passed on, though not before teaching Kipper one of the most important lessons of his life, fire is not destruction, it is life, rebirth, and change. The young Gnome would hold the lesson close to him his entire life. When his grandfather died his entire house, his tree, caught fire and left behind a small sapling in the middle of the ashes. The young Druid tended the tree often, helping it’s growth the best he could up until the day he had to leave his village.

The reasoning for this sudden decision was simple. He wanted to know more about the world. About different plants and animals. About how the world changed and how to change with it. So that he, some day, may return to his home to teach a new Druid what he’d been taught for so many years.
