Backstory by Error on WP

Involves two characters, Eike and former love interest, Katie

"Will you love me forever my sweetheart ?" Eike asks
"Of course, forever and ever!" Katie replies

But that was a lie...

Eike has been continuously remembering that question he always asks Katie...well its useless now wasn't it?
Ever since Katie left him for someone else, his heart has been crumbling for a long time. His heart being torn apart into many little pieces.
Eike sat near the pond and looked at his reflection
"Forever and ever!"
He tries to ignore the voice that was in his head
The vivid memory of a young, beautiful light coloured wolf, a vivid memory of how Katie looks like appears in his mind, even before he could tell himself to not think about it

It doesn't matter now.

Eike even came across her pups... her own pups, her own offspring, passing on the generation, while... she leaves him behind, behind his own shadows
Heck, he even lost contact with her, he travelled far away to leave his own troubles. Telling himself that nothing should bother him anymore, they were the ones holding him back anyway.
The feeling of love, the feeling of being loved, the feeling of being someone special has left him upon crossing the next border
It was his own decision to even leave everything behind to start a new life.
But that does not mean that the trauma would leave him, in fact, it leaves a permanent scar that is forever in his heart.

Eike stood up, digging into the hole that he buried a potion in, more of a drink
It was a drink that he brewed by himself, it helps him heals the "pain" that he was dealing with.
Eike unscrews the cap and took a big gulp of the drink.
Man! even this potion that he made could not take the pain away from him... the fact that Katie and he were partners in crime, the fact that all his good times were with her, the fact that he took three shots for her, which explains the three arrows stuck behind his back to defend her.
And what he got in return?
A tear in his heart, A trauma, A nostalgia that keeps him from succeeding, His former lover of whom he could never meet again.

"ARGH!" Eike could not take it anymore, he finished the potion, throwing the bottle back into the hole and buried it, he then went back to bed.
repeatedly telling himself that thinking about the past is useless.
A tear rolled out of his eyes...."Bitte hilf mir..." he whispered to himself while falling asleep.

Other lil bits I might add if I get around to it

- At some point he was attacked by a nasty tribe or something and as they were so cruel they liked to hunt down predators (Like wolves etc) and then somewhat torture them and leave them for dead, that is how he got the three arrows and the word 'pain' chiselled into his shoulder, it later healed and is now scarred. He came across this tribe as he was aimlessly wandering after his mate, Katie left him for another wolf. They shot him with arrows, the front-most being the longest, shot by an older member, the second a little shorter, perhaps shot by a teen and the third the shortest, most likely released by a young member, probably still learning perhaps only around the age of 10 or so.

- The cornered him after shooting him and captured him, tossing him in a handmade roped cage, he had to stoop lowly so the pained arrows didn't catch on the roof and cause more pain. That night a handful of the younger tribe members pulled him out pinning him on his right-hand side, while one of him used his stone-cut knife to carve 'pain' in his shoulder, his yelps were pointless. An elder spotted them out at night, he snarled at them "Get back to bed now!" Among other things, while they were distracted he wriggled and squirmed managing to painfully pull free of their grips. As he got away he ran for the remainder of the night, just after the sun had started to rise he was tired but still walking to get away from them he tripped a little into a bush of sorts as he got up he heard a metallic crank followed by a crunch then his screamed yelp, a bear trap (or some sort of large trap) caught his hind leg. This is how Aztec finds him.
