She loved fine art and drawing as a child, Found herself facinated by Ballet, Iceskating,and Fashion Desing. Unfourtunatley her familly did not have the money to enroll her in such hobbies.
Always scribbling up some dresses, drawing teaparties, playing "fancy" with her friends and treating the public pool as if it were her private pool (playing Rich person) was mostly how she spent her childhood
So logically once Atlantis rose from the ocean, got expandet, opend an Academy of High society that not only teaches you all the skills to be a part of high society, but also allows all of its students to attend every Gala in the city for free, beccause it benefits their learning, Darling just had to sighn up for it
On Top off all that the city was right next to the ocean, and even had parts of it running through the streets. It was simply the perfect aestetic oppertunity!
Ofcourse in the begining, She made quite a few mistakes since all her previous knowlege of these topics has only been theoretical, She never Actually went to an Oficial Teaparty, only ever saw them on tv or recreated them with her friends. She still had a lot to learn especially compared to some studens who baically grew up with this, but were sent by their parents to " Polish" their skills. She Enjoyed being able to go to all these galas through her school, Until She met one of the hosts... A very Peculiar set of parents and two adult children, Althoug she found herself getting along well with the Son of the fammily
What Darling dindt know then is that he actually went to her school as well, they just hadnt met there yet.

- She joins an academy that teaches everything she was always interested in
- At the school she first has to fake it till she makes it because she has ofcoure only theoretical knowlege of all her Subjets. At a gala she gets to attend beause of school, she meets a very... interesting familly
