Social as any Rainwing, Hoatzin nevertheless had a dark side to him. He always wanted to be an animus. When it failed to crop up, he felt like he'd personally failed and set out on a path with one goal in mind: to become one at any cost. He has captured, experimented on and killed others for this goal but has never discovered how to make himself powerful. He is cautiously interested in the Syndicate, but isn't sure it is worth his time - unless they can help further his goal.
