El was raised in a small village in a distant country. There they  worshiped El's ancestor, the goddess of nature and peace. El wasn't just raised to be the perfect religious disciple and future leader, but was  literally created through magic just as his mother and grandmother before him had been. For generations now they had started doing everything they could to appear as otherworldly and holy as possible,  all to maintain their place of authority over the village.

El began to question the way things were, and with his doubts came the loss of his magic as a disciple of his ancestor. This just furthered to disillusioned him, and one night he ran away. He's never stopped  running, traveling across both land and sea to separate himself from his home and heritage.

Now, he barely has any magic remaining and is struggling to find his place in the world. In the meantime, he's been seducing his way into the homes of men to have a place to stay.
