Lamia is definitely not someone who you would like to run into. She is a whirlwind of chaos, and her mood always seems to change drastically on a whim. She will purposefully engage in conflict just because she's 'bored'. Surprisingly enough, she does have a bit of a hidden good side to her, although you wouldn't be able to recognize there being a difference unless you speak to her often. Perhaps part of her feels lonely? Good luck trying to get her to admit that.

Backstory:

Lamia's story definitely isn't one many know about, although this is mostly because she has nobody to tell it to. As a child, Lamia had no friends other than her parents and a Light Pokemon that she had met in the Other World. Both of her parents were somewhat young, and as much as they loved her they didn't really know how to properly raise a child. Lamia was a wild child who didn't know her manners, and if she wasn't being watched for more than in a second, she would be off in a flash. This was most evident when she followed her father through a portal on one of his outings and saw the Light World for the first time.

It was both beautiful and terrifying. The colors there were bright and blinding, and she had never seen that many Pokemon before until then. She soon lost her father in the crowds of Brightkeep and had no way to get home as she was too young to make a portal of her own. Feeling defeated, Lamia huddled underneath a large tree close to where she had entered this world, hoping her father would come back the way he had came.

Instead, a Light Pokemon found her first. She had been concerned to see such a young Pokemon alone and clearly scared, so she helped console Lamia while they both waited for her father to return. Once he did, he thanked the Light Pokemon profusely, and the two went home together. Unbeknownst to Lamia, however, there was something else on her father's mind that day than simple errands.

After that, Lamia joined her parents on visits to the Light World more often, hoping to see the nice Light Pokemon she had met. Oftentimes she was able to find her, and the two would laugh and talk and play while her parents did other things. As bright and blinding as this world was for her, Lamia loved it.

For a while things seemed perfect. She would visit, have fun, leave, and visit again. Lamia and the Light Pokemon formed a deep friendship, not unlike the bond that siblings share. One day, however, Lamia didn't see the other Pokemon. This wasn't unusual, as she was often busy with some form of work like her parents were. Lamia went the next day. Her friend was still not there. After a week of waiting and worrying, late at night she heard loud crashing upstairs. When she went up to investigate, she saw her parents and her friend locked in battle. As it turned out, the 'work' her friend had been doing was the same thing all Dark Pokemon were working to stop. Her friend had been promptly captured for interrogation, but had tried to escape in the middle of the night, but not without the noticing of her parents.

She watched in horror as the three fought, the battle getting more brutal as adrenaline and fear took over her exhausted body. Eventually, her parents' bodies went still. Her friend passed out exhausted. Lamia grabbed a knife from the kitchen. Her friend didn't wake up after that.

She doesn't really need friends now. She doesn't really need anyone. It's safer that way, for her and everyone else.
