Overview: 

Jynx  is Fairy Tail's second resident ghost along with Mavis Vermillion, she  first shows herself to Frea while she is out on a training mission with  her (former) student Chase. Jynx joined the Guild around the same time  that Makarov did, and became very well acquainted with him, until she  died at a young age while working to save the town of Magnolia from an  attack by a Demon of Zeref.

She spent  years alone and on her own after her death, only choosing to show  herself to a very select number of people, before finally returning to  the Guild around the same time Frea and Chase went back. She spends  little time at the Guild itself, and no one knows where she is when she  is not there- but when she is needed, all one needs to do is ask and she  was appear.

She is great friends with  Mavis, being in the more or less same situation (Being ghosts and all)  as the First Master. Jynx is quite and tends to keep to herself, unless  the situation calls for something different. Despite being young when  she died, she does not act her age, and is rather collected, calm and  mature. The way she hands out information tends to lean on the vague  side, much to the annoyance of several people (and Frea, most notably).  Despite how round about she seems about giving out information, she does  do her best to help her friends and her Guild to the utmost of her  ability- and feels guilty and responsible if she finds a situation where  she can do little (as seen when she deeply regretted being able to help  Frea little with the upcoming Danger faced in the All Magic Arc of  "Balance In Our Lives")

Jynx is an incredibly  loyal individual, and cares deeply for the safety of her Guild and her  friends. Her loyalty rivals that of Frea herself, and underneath the  maturity and the calm- she's still a teenager at heart, and can be set  off easily. 

Upon conclusion of the All Magic  Arc, Jynx proved her loyalty tenfold and strove to save Frea's life in  the quake of the battle with Mordren. She and Frea hold the same level  of understanding of the Forces of Creation, and the both of them seemed  to have rekindled an easy, content relationship once more.

Of  the Forces of Creation, Soul remains one of the lesser known sections-  the true extent of Jynx's Power is still very much unknown. Not much has  been shown of what she can do, in terms of physical strength she seems  lacking- but in conceptual uses she seems rather capable. To match this,  Jynx has an intelligence and knowledge of all sorts of Magics outside  of her own- and can tackle complicated problems with ease and calm.
