Unflappable - Hard-Working - Simple

An impossibly competent Rat-Catcher who, after making friends with a few other travelers in the Empire, discovers the far more threatening Rat-Men that live underground. But a rat is a rat, and she's very good at her job. 

-Once lived with abusive parents who planned to marry her off for her dowry. She still has a nasty scar on her neck, but having grown up in that environment, she doesn't quite register that what she went through was wrong or even bad. Her emotions in general are very muted thanks to this upbringing. She's grown since leaving them, thanks to some sneaky nudging from her older brother.

-Has an older brother who is fiercely protective of her. As mentioned, Edyth doesn't understand that she's been abused, so he managed to convince her to leave to earn a career for herself.

-Her best friend in the world is her dog and hunting partner, Elsa, a small but fierce Cain Terrier. Said dog is single-minded and listens to no-one but Edyth. Avoid her teeth, she WILL bite. Currently wearing a fancy blue turtleneck sweater that she refuses to let Edyth remove.

-Usually wields a hand-axe or a slingshot, she's particularly adept with the slingshot

-Has a variety of scratch and bite scars thanks to her job, most prominent being the three scars on her left cheek and a big chunk that was bitten out of her right ear
