Personality:  Helpful, Caring, sensitive, long fuse of patience but it is attached to a large load of unstable firestone, rather quiet and thoughtful, seen as brooding when not in conversation. Enjoys music and being intellectually challenged. Finds himself to be capable of much and never reaching enough of his potential so he constantly strives to be better than the previous day.

Hair colour:Black with a sheen of dark blue in the sun (think crows)

H I S T O R Y
Bio:  Born to a Minercraft Hall heritage, Delonar was skilled from a young age, but disinterested in his home Hall's craft. At the age of 6 he was attacked by a startled watch-wher, from which he bears three rough claw marks on right shoulder. The resident Healer treated his wounds, and the resident Harper entertained him with music and stories. He was so enamored of the stories, he began deeper lessons. His secret lessons with the Harper led him to become distracted in his lessons in the Minerhall. One day about age 9, he was not paying attention and a large piece of equipment fell and crushed him, nearly killing him. His Healer friend began treatment to save him, but required greater medical help and had a Master Healer sent for. Delonar survived and recovered, his wounds being more superficial than originally believed once the coma passed. He still bears a scar on his back that reminds him to stay aware of his surroundings.
At the age of 14, his voice had already changed and settled. He found joy in singing to brighten the Miner's spirits as he gained his strength back. Visiting Harpers, impressed by his range invited him to join them in Harper Hall. He agreed. Having recently become a Harper's Apprentice for only a year and a half, he was caught off guard when a Candidate sweep was made at Harper Hall. He was even more shocked when the large dragon sniffed at him and told the rider to gather him for the Hatching. He was placed before the great bronze egg on the burning Sands, and with anticipation and excitement, the egg hatched and the hatchling found it's way to him. He fed it and the dragon Impressed upon him, Delonar shouting it's name with exhilaration and pride. In his two years since becoming a rider he has trained almost every day to train Rylarth in speed and agility to be the more dexterous and fast bronze of the time. His goal: prove himself worthy of his dragon. Rylarth: Catch Hatsheth and fight thread to protect his rider.

Rylarth is a particularly brilliant and metallic bronze. His eyes are very bright and scintillating no matter the mood. There are light swirls on the underside of his wings almost invisible to anyone who wasn't within arms reach of his inner wings..

Personality: Almost complete contrast to his appearance, this bronze has no particular drive to be noticed, except by the Gold Hatsheth. He actually feels like his brilliance would put her off because her scales are so much different from a normal gold, but he doesn't want her for her looks or for the status of being her mate, He loves her intelligence and curiosity. He believes he can learn as much about her as she does the world. He is inquisitive and curious about everything, but seems far more mature than his fellow hatch-mates. He is particularly well adapted for stressful decisions and would do anything to help his rider D'nar.

Description:

Acquired through accident, Delonar was helping clean an area in the South after a terrible storm wrecked a large portion of cultivated land. He was feeding Rylarth some fresh meat and happened upon a clutch of fire lizard eggs that had already hatched except the gold egg which was already in the process of hatching. with no way to get the egg away from the hole it was hatching in, he tried to signal for help from a nearby fellow rider, but he was just out of earshot. It hatched and looked around, so D'nar fed it some of the meat he had onhand and it bonded to him.

Appearance: Delonar is 6' 1" with an athletic, if thin, build. He appears to still be growing even though his 'time of growing' should be done. And he is filling in muscle heavier by the week.
