Ashara is a hardworking and trustworthy individual, hiding his more soft and paternal side under a tough and formidable exterior. He lives a busy life, his time is usually spent out in the suburbs and cities his police squad patrols during the day. He usually works the night shift, though when extra reinforcements are needed, he is up and ready to go at the first call. He's a hard worker, pushing himself past his own limits more often than not, trying to make sure those he protects remain safe and secure. Due to his constant absence from the stables, he doesn't have much time to make friends or create lasting relationships with his peers like the others can, but after a fateful encounter at a barn fire call, he can say he will protect Foxglove with his life, who he considers his own.

Being a single adoptive father is stressful, but he finds menial tasks like listening to the young girl prattle on about mundane things to be a joy, worth the strain and worry during Foxglove's childhood years. Ashara has wanted nothing more than to do right by the young girl, despite the latter assuring him constantly that he is doing the best he possibly can. He can be a bit overprotective over Foxglove, much to her chagrin, but she secretly allows it to happen for Ashara's peace of mind.
